Since the foundation of the company in 1990, CEMTEC Limited has supplied and started up more than 200 mills, kilns and drums.

 

1990:

The company is founded under the name CEMENTAS GmbH in Enns (Upper Austria) to serve the South American and European cement-, stone- and soil-industry's needs.

 

1991:

Repairs and supplies replacement parts for rotary kilns and drums.

 

1992:

CEMENTAS puts the first rotary cooler for the fertilizer industry into operation.

 

1995:

The first CEMENTAS mill is put into operation.

 

1996:

Construction of the new company headquarters begins.
12 briquetting drums for the FINMET-process ordered
CEMENTAS GmbH receives the order for the first cement mill.
Receives IS0-9001 certification.

 

1997:

Inauguration of the new company building.
CEMENTAS GmbH is renamed as CEMTEC GmbH.
CEMTEC is re-organized to pursue new company vision.
Receives first order of a complete grinding plant for delivery to the U.S.
Order from Venezuela for 12 briquetting drums.

 

1998:

First CEMTEC AG mill.
2 rotary dryers and hot-gas-generators for Austria.
Supply of an iron ore drying drum Ø 4,6 x 25,0 m.

 

1999:

Order for 2 spherodizers Ø 4,5/4,2.
Participation in the Spanish branch office.

 

2000:

Cement mill with slide shoe bearing Ø 4,0 x 13,25 m
2 ore mixers for Venezuela.
Shift from 2D to 3D CAD-design.

 

2001:

FGD wet-grinding-plant for Turkey.
Drying plant for Baschkortistan.

 

2002:

First mill with DMGH-drive for Spain.
Starting up of three 3,3 MW cement mills.
Order for a Turnkey cement plant with a capacity of 75 t/h
Three 3,3 MW cement mills are put into operation.

 

2003:

Order for a cement grinding plant on turnkey basis with a
capacity of 140 t/h. 
Order for a rotary kiln ø5,2 x 30,5 m with a burning 
capacity of 75 MW.
Ground-breaking for the workshop in Ennshafen.

 

2004:

Start of operation in the new workshop.
CEMTEC fabricates 28 mills in 2004.
Order for a SAG-mill ø6,8 x 1,8 m.

 

2005:

Order for a cement grinding plant on turnkey basis with
a capacity of 2 x 144 t/h.
CEMTEC receives the order for the 100th mill.

 

2006:

Order for a limestone grinding plant for FGD in Italy (ENEL).
Order for a cement grinding plant in Russia.

 

2007:

Order for a limestone grinding plant for FGD in Spain (ENEL).
Start of operation at the in-house pilot plant.
Ground-breaking for the new office building in Ennshafen.

 

2008:

Relocation of all departments to Ennshafenstrasse 40.
